If you want to make a statement with your makeup, then this is an exception. To obtain an even coverage, the lip and cheek colors you choose must complement your skin tone and have comparable undertones.

Night:
Your lips will look stunning with a vivid blue-toned red, but you should balance it out with a deeper rosy pink on your cheeks that also has a cool blue undertone.
Above right: Bold pink-beige blush is used to warm up the cheekbones, creating a lovely evening look that looks lovely on porcelain skin. The red gloss is placed over a lip pencil that matches.

Select soft pink and beige shades with chilly undertones, including pale baby pink and sandy pink.
