An emblematic of your skin type—is cemented in a very simplistic sense.
An emblematic of your skin type—is cemented in a very simplistic sense.
Instead of concentrating on your skin type, consider the issues that are currently plaguing your skin and what steps you may take to correct them. This article explains how changes in stress levels, nutrition, hormones, seasons, and lifestyle can affect the way your skin looks. For example, you may have had very dry skin as a teenager, but as you get older, you discover that this isn't the case because oily skin automatically balances itself.
Examine Your Skin.
After cleansing, spend a few hours without clothing on your skin. Let's examine how to determine your skin type diagnosis.
Sensitive Skin.
The incidence of skin sensitivity has increased dramatically, with stress and lifestyle being the main causes. On the other hand, most people mistakenly believe they have sensitive skin when they don't. However, the best way to determine whether you have sensitive skin is to follow these guidelines: if you experience flushing easily, redness and heat in response to cosmetic products, or persistent red marks that appear when you touch your face, there's a good chance that you have sensitive skin.
Normal skin.
Your oil production is at its peak if your skin is slightly shiny.
Skin that is dry.
Your skin is in a dry form if it still feels extremely tight even after using moisturizer.
Skin that is oily.
This type of skin produces so much oil that it gives the appearance of shiny skin. To find out how much oil is absorbed, try pressing a piece of tissue up against the skin.
Problem skin.
Having skin prone to infections, such acne and patches, may be extremely painful and upsetting. There are three stages of acne development: mild, characterized by small pimples, and full, characterized by hard cysts around purple-toned, inflammatory skin. If your acne is mild, you can cure it at home; but, if your acne is severe, you should see a doctor.
Dehydrated skin.
How can you tell when the skin on your body is too dry? Hold a looking glass up to the window so that light streams across your face in a crosswise pattern. Dehydrated skin can cause the surface to look scaly and drab and can cause instantaneous crossing fine lines. On the other hand, moisturized skin will reflect light and appear smooth. As an alternative, pinch the back of your hand and observe the speed at which the skin recovers. If your skin is properly hydrated, it will be supple and capable of recovering as soon as possible.
