If you want to give your client a unique manicure, these are the final steps that will excite your client and surely bring you sunny days. So take a deep breath and let go and face them.
Step 1.
First, counseling. This gives you the opportunity to talk to your client and consider her conditions and expectations, because you want to make her happy. These include nail length, nail shape and nail polish type. If you both agree, start the treatment.
Step 2.
There are many manicures, such as dark, plain, matte or French, so give the client an opportunity to choose her flattering manicure. As a manicurist, you can recommend an appropriate nail finish that matches the client's taste. Dark colors are not recommended for short or bitten nails because they make the nails look shorter.
Step 3.
First, remove the old nail. Check the nails for defects such as ridges. When removing old nail polish, analyze the nail plate in its natural state. Wash your hands with disinfectant to avoid cross-infection.
Step 4.
Shape nails by cutting with sterilized scissors.
Step 5.
File the nails with an emery board.
Step 6.
Bevelling is done to seal the free edge layers of the nails and prevent water loss and damage.
Step 7.
Decant with an orange stick and apply the cream around the cuticle.
Step 8.
Gently rub the cuticle cream into the cuticles using your fingertips. This helps soften the skin and makes it easier to remove the cuticles.
Step 9.
In this step, you test the temperature of the hot water placed in the bowl for the comfort of the customer. This is followed by soaking the client's hands in water. The process evens out the absorption of the cuticle cream and softens the skin.
Step 10.
Remove one hand from the water. Pat and dry it thoroughly with a clean and unused towel.
Step 11.
Remove cuticles with cuticle remover and cotton. Since the cuticle remover is sharp, use it with care.
Step 12.
Use a cuticle cutter to remove excess cuticles from the nail plate. The nail plate must be smooth and moist so that scratches are not visible on the skin. To avoid cutting the cuticle, the knife must be kept level. Cuticle clippers are great for trimming excess cuticles. Add a smooth finish to the free edges of the nail by rechambering.
Step 13.
Choose the perfect massage tool. First, massage your hands with light movements. Support your hands and massage up to the elbow.
Step 14.
The circular rubs of the thumb help relieve tension in the forearm flexors and extensors.
Step 15.
Use the circular rubbing method on the back of the hand.
Step 16.
Gently support and rotate each finger and thumb to reduce stress on the knuckles.
Step 17.
Extend the client's fingers by pinching the client's fingers between your fingers and gently pulling and twisting along the length of the finger.
