Ethereal Beauty Amidst The Two Intersecting Worlds of Fashion and Visual Art.

Fashion and art are the two intersecting worlds

Both fashion and visual art spark an array of emotional aesthetics and nostalgia. Fashion changes with time, fashion is bought, fashion is more associated with feminine silhouettes while the realm of art narrates in depth about independence, intellectual and masculinity.

Art fosters fashion while fashion fosters art. The two core topics are dependent in nature. Some fashion designers are talented in both fashion and art. For instance—between 1910 and 1930, Sonia Delaunay (1885—1979) fused the contemporary artistic flair into her elegant paintings, textiles and garments. She meticulously applied her geometrical style and coloristic abstraction. She was in favor of artwork rather than passing fashions.

The gallant pieces of art fused together with fashion ethos were Yves Saint Laurent's shift dresses. The supremely chic pieces featured linear color-blocking of Piet Mondrian's paintings. The masterpiece was an emblem of joyful yet sensual fine art blended together with timeless design in full effect.

Alexander McQueen's and Hussein Chalayan's fashion shows in the 1990s and 2000s displayed the modern and fresh approach to fine art.

Authoritative fashion companies have already demonstrated the appreciation for the fine line between fashion and fine art. In 2012, for example—Louis Vuitton collaborated with Yayoi Kusama (1929—) a legendary Japanese contemporary visual artist, together—they created an instantly recognizable collection fused with fine art for visual interest. Thanks to the ongoing international art fairs, exhibitions and museums. They are genial for the viable intersected worlds of art and fashion.

The famous and prominent notion that clothing is a form of artistic expression is grasped by art colleges who have consistently produced diverse collections since the 1960s.

Fashion art is conserved in places like museums, galleries or spaces dedicated to storing fine arts for the purity of mystery and inspiration for the next generations.
