Fallera hairdo: Also known as a Valencia fallera hairstyle, this haircut is exclusive to Valencian traditional ladies and the Fallas festival. It brings to mind the iconic Princess Leia hairdo from Star Wars. This dramatic hairstyle is defined by two braids wrapped around the back of the head, each with twisted hair strands arranged in distinct forms in the center, and by twin spiral buns on either side of the head. It reminds me of the one on the old statue of Lady EIx as well.

Feather Cut: In the 1970s, skinhead women in the UK were big fans of this hairdo. A large percentage of the hair is shaved or chopped extremely short, with the exception of the bangs, sideburn locks, and very back, which are occasionally let to grow out. In North America, it's also referred to as the Chelsea cut.

Feathered hair: In the 1970s and early 1980s, this fashionable hairstyle was preferred by both men and women. This look included long hair grown on both sides to cover the ears, but it may even reach the shoulders. It was left unlayered (though some men with curly hair did wear layers), and it was parted either in the middle or on the side.

Finger waves: Lotion your hair and then comb it to achieve this look.

Flattop: Another type of crew cut is called a "flattop," which gives the hair on top of the head a level, flat-topped appearance by cutting it like a flat plane.

Flipped-up ends: During the 1960s, this particular hairstyle was quite popular among women. The ends of the style are flipped or curl upward. Cybill Shepherd (1950–) wore the flip in 1966, and Lesley Gore (1946–2015) wore it in 1963 as the queen of beauty.

Fontange: During the latter part of the 17th century, this hairstyle became rather fashionable.

French braid: Unlike a dutch braid, which has its braided strands going under, this braid looks to be braided into the hair. It is typically defined as having braided reverse strands going over.

French twist: A hairstyle in which the hair is twisted into a type of bun behind the head.
